The first Palladium boots were made in 1947 and were so comfortable and durable that the French Foreign Legion adopted them for regular use. Over the past half-century, the brand has managed to incorporate similar lines and original designs into modern styles, so that fans of the brand can still enjoy the same premium quality as French soldiers. Unlike other brands of boots, the rubber-reinforced toe cap provides extra protection for the shoes, so extreme weather conditions and terrain are no problem for the wearer. In 2014, Alpha Industries and Palladium collaborated on a new collection. The nylon material used in Alpha flight jackets was used in the stitching of the boots, making them a perfect complement to any Alpha jacket or pants.
